Saturday 24th October

My grovelling appologies for my poor updating in the last couple of weeks! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and relaxing time over the long weekend. We have had a very busy month, from doing Canadian Achievement Testing (CATs) with the grade 6's to a whole range of tests in Science, Social and French (thank you to the parents who I know have been working very hard with us to study!!) and Diagnostic Reading Assesments (DRA's) for both grade 5's and 6's. Although we have been very busy, I am very proud to report that both grades have been working very hard and showing off what they know in a grand fashion! This last week has been very fun, starting with our pan-cake breakfast put on by the Lions 95 - Thanks so much!! and followed by spirit week. Next week is also going to be a very busy one, with Halloween festivities on Friday. We will be having a party that day and our parade around the school. Several children have volunteered to bring various objects for the party. We will be having it in the afternoon.

HOMEWORK:
French: quick test on Monday ELA: finish off editing work MATH: go over all problem areas for test on Monday

Have an excellent weekend!
