We had a very busy day today with science, French, social, math and ELA.
I am pleased to see that most of us have shook off the holidays and are doing a good job getting down to work. We had a couple "almost" 15 minute stays after school today - LUCKILY I was careless enough to rub the names off by mistake. I am following what the other junior high teachers are doing in that if a student is disruptive or has not done their homework, they get to spend 15 minutes of quality time with me after school! I have a similar policy for lates, but actually, this class is so brilliant at being in their seats at the bell, that I haven't had a problem with one late yet.... EXCELLENT WORK grade 5&6 - I think we might be beating the rest of the school!!

Homework today:

MATH: finish # 16 & #18
FRENCH: finish the www.bonjour.com worksheet
SOCIAL STUDIES: quiz on Friday (Capitals and Provinces)

IMMUNIZATIONS NOTICES NEED TO BE RETURNED ASAP.
ANY LAST BOOK ORDERS - I AM SENDING THEM IN ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
